Josh is the chief strategist behind The Audio Programmer. Since launching in 2017, he transformed TAP from a YouTube channel into a thriving ecosystem, driving innovation through education, networking, and collaboration. Alongside the community, Josh has expanded TAP into a audio software development agency and boutique recruitment firm, creating meaningful partnerships with music tech companies and creators across the world.
Rhiannon Bankston-Thomas
COO
With 20+ years in music tech, Rhiannon co-founded FXpansion, shaping it into a globally recognized brand before its successful acquisition. She later led commercial operations at ROLI, driving business strategy and partnerships. Now, as Head of Commercial Operations at The Audio Programmer, she oversees client relationships, development projects, and growth strategy, helping audio tech companies scale and innovate.
Tessa Rowe
Recruitment Manager
Tessa is a specialist recruiter for music and audio technology companies, hiring from Graduate Engineers to CEOs. With over a decade of experience, she has worked across pro and consumer audio, covering streaming, ticketing, music AI, live events, production tools, andmore.
Known for her personal approach and deep industry knowledge, Tessa values long-term connections – many clients become candidates and vice versa. While she focuses on technology, R&D, and engineering roles, she also recruits in sales, marketing, and operations.
Matthijs Hollemans
Technical Lead
Matthijs has a lifelong love for code that has endured ever since the days of the Commodore 64. His enthusiasm and curiosity have guided him through a unique development journey across game development, iOS, and machine learning.
As the Technical Lead for The Audio Programmer, Matthijs can navigate across the entire spectrum of audio software development -from digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms to code architecture and user interfaces. These experiences have equipped him to lead teams with empathy, tackling the complex challenges of today's audio software landscape with a fresh and innovative approach.
An accomplished author, Matthijs has penned books across these fields and generously shares his expertise with the community. His passion for discussing audio development online is so captivating that it often leaves his piano keys yearning for attention.
