What's New at Audio Developer Conference 2025 w/ The ADC Team | Ep 33
Join the ADC team as they discuss the 10th anniversary conference featuring 85+ speakers, new game audio track, expanded diversity initiatives, and global expansion to cities worldwide.
The Audio Programmer meetup welcomes the ADC team to discuss the upcoming Audio Developer Conference, celebrating its 10th anniversary. Taking place November 10th to 12th in Bristol and online, ADC has evolved from a single-track event with around 100 attendees to a comprehensive conference featuring over 85 speakers across four tracks, including a new game audio track. The conference offers talks ranging from beginner to advanced levels, covering software development, hardware, performance coding, and softer topics like marketing and hiring.
ADC emphasizes diversity, accessibility, and community building. Thanks to generous sponsors, over 30 people receive free in-person tickets, with many more gaining online access. The event includes a mentorship program with over 100 mentors, poster sessions for students and emerging developers, workshops, and social events including an algo rave mixer. Moving from London to Bristol has made the conference more accessible and affordable for students while tapping into Bristol's vibrant music and modular synth culture. The online experience via Gather Town recreates Bristol virtually, offering interactive networking, exhibits, and live Q&A sessions.
Beyond the main Bristol event, ADC is expanding globally with pop-up ADCX events in cities like Bengaluru, Copenhagen, San Francisco, and a full three-day ADC Japan in June 2026. The conference remains not-for-profit, with all proceeds supporting future events. Whether attending in person or online, ADC offers invaluable networking opportunities, bringing together industry leaders, students, and hobbyists to celebrate everything about audio development technology.
