Monthly Meetup (March 8th, 2022)

"In this talk we will discuss some of the history of digital sound synthesis, and in particular physical modelling as an approach to synthetic sound. We will get the views of researchers that have been working on the latest modelling techniques, as well as detailing some of challenges in creating real-time audio systems using this work.”

“Beyond the Code” is a section of the meetup where we are able to speak with key individuals in music tech about their journey and perspectives on audio development.

This month we welcome Geert Bevin, a senior application developer, product designer, and product manager who dabbles in everything from synthesizers to music composition. As a current employee at MoogMusic, he works on creating and maintaining expressive instruments available on the iOS and iPadOS platforms.
